About the Project

Karratha (Safe Places) is a crisis accommodation facility run by The Salvation Army Corps WA serving victims of domestic violence and their families from Karratha and surrounding communities. The centre has been planned around a green space with playgrounds and a yarning circle to create a safe and calming environment for healing.

The housing and administration buildings are all of modular construction, manufactured in Perth and transported to site for complexing. The centre is due for completion in 2025.
